Ever since the COVID-19 ‘pandemic’ broke out, a lot of things changed. To prevent spreading the virus further, everyone’s being required at any one time to follow lockdown protocols and stay inside.
However, it created a chain of consequences, changing people’s lives. Education is one of those heavily affected by this.
Since it is not safe for students to to meet on-site, they proceed with their education through online means. One of these students is Abby Mootz, currently in college.
Amid this time of change, there is someone who is secretly happy: Maggie, Abby’s loving and cheerful dog.
When the lockdown happened, Maggie had all of Abby’s attention. They would play and spend time together. However, little did Maggie know, their time together will be lessened when Abby started her online classes.
According to Abby, Maggie loves to cuddle. When her online classes began, she spent a lot more time on her computer doing her school tasks and the pup, expectedly, did not appreciate this! Sometimes, Maggie would use her paw to stop Abby from using her phone in an effort to get her attention.
But the most effective weapon that Maggie possesses is sticking out her tongue. Abby has always found it impossible to resist this cute strategy of her dog.
During online classes or when Abby is finishing her assignments, Maggie would rest her head on the keyboard of the laptop and just sticks her tongue out.
There were even times wherein Maggie accidentally exited the school task that Abby was working on. Fortunately, “no harm, no foul”.
Although this can be quite challenging for the striving student, Abby can quickly give in to her needy and cute companion, Maggie, when it uses her secret weapon.
